Based upon my limited trial as of yet, I'll say it is what it says it is. It's a handy resource, & if one is willing to spend $$ here, this is a good tool for conducting research in poli-sci. NOW, for the BIG complaint: I personally feel that it is very lame to (obviously go out of the way to) promote a specific philosophy by highlighting it in screenshots, & displaying a definition that: (1)lacks ANY objectivity & instead substitutes biased opinion, (2) is, simply put, FALSE. I'm speaking here of the same propaganda as is the topic of the "free book" offered by this app--"Socialism". The logical fallacies (not least of which are bad premises) & pure falsehoods in that definition have been demonstrably proven beyond doubt using all range of empirical methods, like deductive logical reasoning, & regressions using variety of historical data. Worse yet is the morality problem here: socialism (as defined here & as popularly understood--that is, state-socialism--not the rarely heard of, yet exponentially better, private/voluntary-socialism) is 1 of many political-theories that condone, advocate, or in this case actually mandate the use of violent aggression and coercion to force compliant behavior (& sometimes even, attitudes). Asked to summarize the fundamental difference b/w socialism & libertarianism (aka "classical-liberalism"), David Boaz pointed out that libertarians would NOT be permitted to exist in a socialist state, while socialists (of a private/voluntary persuasion) would certainly be permitted to live & prosper in a libertarian world. Please change your app to reflect the now accepted wisdom of FA Hayek.
